Safe Spaces, Healing Places: RPI 2026 at Maynooth University with Joe Brummer, inspiring workshops, circles, learning and connection.
RPI National Conference 2026
Join us for the Restorative Practices Ireland National Conference 2026, taking place on Saturday, 17 October 2026, at the TSI Building, Maynootho University.
This year’s conference theme, “Safe Spaces, Healing Places: Intersecting Trauma Awareness, Well-being, and Restorative Practices,” will explore how restorative approaches can help create safer, more connected and supportive environments across education, community, social care and other professional settings.
We are delighted to welcome Joe Brummer as our keynote speaker. Joe is an internationally recognised trainer, author and restorative practitioner whose work brings together restorative practices, trauma awareness, resilience and well-being. His keynote will provide the starting point for a day of reflection, conversation and practical learning.
Following the keynote, delegates will have an opportunity to take part in facilitated breakout circles, reflecting on the themes and ideas emerging from Joe’s presentation. The afternoon will feature a choice of eight workshops, offering participants the opportunity to explore different areas of restorative practice, including research, practical applications and emerging approaches. Delegates will be able to select their preferred workshop in advance when registering.
The day will conclude with an interactive Q&A with Joe Brummer, providing an opportunity to explore questions and ideas arising throughout the conference.
There will also be plenty of time for networking, sharing experiences and connecting with others who are interested in restorative approaches and in building stronger, healthier relationships and communities.
Whether you are an experienced restorative practitioner or are simply interested in learning more, the RPI National Conference offers a welcoming space to learn, reflect, connect and share.
We look forward to welcoming you to Maynooth University for what promises to be an engaging and thought-provoking day.
