Safe to Create, in partnership with the Irish Theatre Institute, offers a half‑day workshop that breaks down the steps involved in handling complaints, investigations and reporting within arts organisations. Aimed at managers, producers and venue directors, the session equips participants with practical tools to recognise harmful behaviour, choose appropriate response options and conduct transparent investigations. By focusing on real‑world scenarios, the training helps build confidence in navigating grievance and disciplinary processes, ultimately supporting healthier workplace cultures.
The interactive format blends concise presentations with collaborative activities, allowing attendees to share experiences and develop peer‑learning solutions. Facilitators Olwen Dawe and Karan O’Loughlin guide the discussion, ensuring that participants leave with clear, actionable strategies for managing complaints from the initial report through to resolution.
