The new exhibition of Ballymun‑born artist John Duffy opens with an intimate evening that brings together visual work and personal reflections on his life and practice. Attendees will hear a curated programme of recorded stories from family, friends and fellow artists, alongside two previously unheard poems by Duffy. The evening also includes a special double‑CD release by his long‑term collaborator Stano, with proceeds supporting the John Duffy Young Artist Bursary.
Set in the contemporary space of Axis Ballymun, the launch begins with a reception at 7:00 pm, followed by the screenings at 7:30 pm. The programme offers a chance to hear voices such as Duffy’s mother Joan, his brother Luke, his son Daniel and other contributors who share memories and insights that illuminate the artist’s journey.
