The National Museum of Ireland in Turlough Park, Castlebar, offers a family‑friendly Halloween hunt that runs from 24 October to 1 November. Visitors can pick up a free activity sheet at reception and follow clues to locate a series of mysterious masks hidden around the galleries. The self‑guided trail is designed for children aged 5‑11, giving youngsters a chance to explore the museum’s collections while searching for the “scary objects”. Once the sheet is completed it can be returned to reception for a Halloween sticker and entry into a prize draw.
