West: Art from the Edge of Ireland examines how the western seaboard has been imagined from the 19th century to the present. The show brings together paintings, sculptures, photographs, video works and pieces on paper that explore the region’s role in Irish identity, memory and the natural landscape. Visitors can see historic figures such as William Orpen, Seán Keating and Mainie Jellett alongside contemporary voices like Dorothy Cross and Sean Scully, offering a broad perspective on how the West has inspired freedom, cultural revival and reflection.
